Moonshot Cream Paint Lightfit - First Impressions

I saw in youtube that this is one of Joankeem's favorite brand for lip products and I bought this when I went to HongKong for my UAA eposter presentation.

I got the shade: Love Drunk

Packaging
The body is silver matte rectangular with twistable cap. There's a small rectangle at the bottom which shows the shade or color.  I love this feature of packaging.  There's also a name of the shade at the bottom of the body.  This contains 9mL / 0.3 fl oz of product.

Etude House Berry Delicious Fantastic Color Eyes - Review

There was a time when I wanted pink eyeshadows, it's just that I was into browns lately that I thought I missed it.  I'm one of those who loves pink eyeshadows.  I was actually satisfied with the performance of Ever Bilena Pink Eyeshadow palette, it has the shade of pink that I love.  But I got fed up with its packaging.  It break so easily that I haven't even used it for a year.

So I searched online until I saw Etude House eyeshadow.  Etude House eyeshadows were one of my favorite eyeshadows when I was still a newbie in makeup.  They're just pigmented and perfect for my skin tone.

Packaging
This is very compact and perfect for travelling.  In fact I use this when I'm 'from' duty, since I can't go home to do my makeup.  The palette is made of plastic and it's so cute!!!!

Heimish Dailism Eye Palette - Review

I've been eyeing this palette since last year, when I watched this being recommended by meejmuse.  But the price hold me back.  I'm used to wearing Philippine-made eyeshadow palettes because they work well and the size is just perfect to put  into your purse and perfect for travelling as well.

The trigger for me to buy this is when both my Ever Bilena Eyeshadow Palette and Fashion 21 Eyeshadow palette cases were broken.  And it just irritates me whenever I use the palette, it just falls apart.

Packaging
Let me just take a while to admire the box of this palette...

Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder - First Impressions

I've finished my Kuromi loose powder and I have to replace with another loose powder to use as finishing powder.  I got this in my recent trip in HK.  This was a very popular product of Innisfree. I could see a lot of beauty gurus using this and vlogging about this.

Packaging This comes in small green plastic twistable container.  It has a semi-translucent strainer inside.

I got the trial kit version: Laneige Essetial Power Skin Refiner &  Laneige Essential Balancing Emulsion.  These both have  been part of my travel skin care kit since last year.  I only use it during my travels and since I use it in such short time and in different weathers, it took a while for me to make a review for this.

Packaging
Both come in plastic cylinder containing of 15 mL each.  It has a twistable cap and the container is small perfect for travelling.

Smell
This has the same smell as the sleeping mask, sweet floral scent.
Consistency
The Skin Refiner has a runny gel like runny consistency like the usual consistency of "essence".  The emulsion has a creamy consistency.

This is one of the stuffs I bought in HK when I went to attend the convention.  Actually I was not really planning to buy this since I'm very much happy with my Biore Makeup Remover Wipe.  But I was asked to add a few more items in what I bought so I can have a box of free face sheet masks.  And wouldn't want that???

Packaging
The product weighs 27g with 30 sheets.  The sheet is round like a cotton pad.

Midyear 2017 empties

I can't remember if these are everything, sometimes I throw the empty containers away, sometimes I keep them.  Anyways, here are a few of those that I was able to keep.

  1. Banila Co Clean it Zero Cleansing Balm - I love this so much that this is my holy grail cleansing balm.  It can blur your eyes for a while, but I just love it so much! Actually I'm on on my 3rd tub already.  I love the smell, I love that it melts away my makeup just like that.  It removes the step of scrubbing your face and or rubbing your face with cotton pad or tissue which sometimes can irritate your skin.   You can read my first impression here
  2. Etude House  Lovely Cookie Blusher (Grapefruit Jelly) - This has been with me since 2015. Haha and I haven't finished it! But my skin is already itchy when I apply this so I have to buy a new one.  This just gives you that hint of blush.
  3. Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream - I like that this is very lightweight to my eyes.  I can't say that this did anything remarkable to my eyes, well maybe also because I always forget to apply this in my eyes.   Read my 1st impressions of this here.  To think this lasted for 16 months, for a small tube although like I said before, I did not use this every day.
  4. Heroinemake Long & Curl Mascara - This has become my holy grail mascara ever since I tried this this year!  It's just perfect for your eyelashes.  I know that mascaras are only supposed to be used for 3 months only, but I was able to stretch this to 5 months.  Well it's expensive, so why throw it away at 3 months? Anyways, at 5 months, there's still some left of the product but I started noticing that its performance is not as great as 1-2 months of initial usage.  I'm using the Volume & Curl Mascara now and I'll let you know what I think once I finished it. Check my first impressions of the Long & Curl Mascara here
  5. Biore Uru-Uru 2-in-1 instant foaming wash - This has a delicious apple scent which I love, lasted pretty much for 4 months.  I use this once a day at night as part of my double cleansing routine.  This feels like putting marshmallow onto your face.  At first, this stings my skin, but after a while of continous usage, I don't feel the sting anymore.  If you want to read my first impressions, here
  6. Biore UV Face Milk - I just love this, even if this is for oily skin, me, being a dry to combination skin type, this just works well.  I love Biore sunscreens! I'm just trying out the other lines, but I've been loyal to Biore ever since trying out my first Biore Sunscreen last year. Biore sunscreens are just my holy grail sunscreen, not even canmake mermaid gel, nor Innisfree sunscreen could replace this.  I used this all up in 5 months of everyday, once a day, one layer of application.

Battle of the Peripera Ink Bottles

In service is done!!! I can now go back to blogging again! Hope I can continue blogging...

When I was looking at the Peripera Ink Lip tints, I thought the Airy Ink Velvet and the Ink velvet were promising, but I don't know which to choose since there were mixed reviews for both.  I was looking for a head to head comparison but I couldn't find it at that time yet, well maybe because that air ink velvet was still new at that time and people are just beginning to buy from that line.

So I thought of making a head to head comparison of the 3 Peripera Ink Lip tints that I have: Peripera Peri's Ink, Peripera Peri's Ink Velvet and Peripera Air Ink Velvet.

Peripera Peri's Ink Velvet - Review

I was so happy to see Club Clio to have a physical store in the Philippines already! The moment I saw it while I was walking in Trinoma, I couldn't stop myself that even if I was about to go home I have to check it out first.

I've been eyeing this product for sometime, but some part of me was preventing me from buying this online.... I have many lip products already, that I couldn't consume all of them, I was afraid that it will be like the Peri's original ink very drying on my lips and very difficult to remove, the color might not be ok for everyday use.

Unlike the other people, I actually first tried the Peri's Ink Airy Velvet and my expectations may be different in a little way.

Packaging
This has the similar ink bottle plastic packaging from the Peri's ink line.  This has a 'matte' bottle look.

Peripera Airy Ink Velvet - Review

I've been feeling really down lately. Things happening in the hospital could really affect the doctors. I don't think doctors could really fully separate their lives in the hospital and outside of it, since you get to care so much for your patient and you get affected with what happens to them.

Anyways, I'm writing this in the hopes at least I feel a little better, some light of positivity.

Packaging
This I think is the latest collection from the Peripera Ink line.  Peripera Airy Ink Velvet, people have been raving about it.  It has a similar ink bottle packaging, with a frosted plastic look, which I find really unique.

DIY Cushion

I find that the Holika Holika Aqua Petite Jelly BB Cream bottle is too bulky for travelling.  It's summer already and I think we should be able to bring some of our favorite products to travel.

I haven't come across a blog post on how this will perform if it's in a cushion form.  I mean I will not alter the formula right?  But most of the DIY cushion tutorials use liquid foundation or BB cream in their DIY Cushions. Well wouldn't hurt anyone to try.

Etude House Play 101 Blending Pencil - First Impressions

There's a new line of Play 101 Pencil released by Etude House.  I love the idea of the Play101 pencil, wherein you can apply a single product to any part of your face: eyes, blush, lipstick etc.

My previous Play 101 pencil got expired and when I saw this in the Etude House stores, I thought why not give this a try if it's as great as the previous ones?

Packaging
The new Play 101 blending pencil is thicker than the old Play 101 pencil.  It still comes in grey plastic packaging, with a twistable end.  One end shows the color of the product.

Etude House Berry Delicious Cream Blusher - Review

As I was destashing my makeup, I realized that my Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher (Grapefruit Jelly) is already 2 years old.  I guess I have to change it since it's beginning to get itchy when I'm applying it.  It's just that I love how the Cookie Blusher looked on me, it's like I got too comfortable with it that I didn't even think of buying a new blusher.

Well obviously, I wanted my new blusher to be from Etude House again.  But I want a new line of blusher, since I want to try something new.

Packaging Pink plastic packaging, no mirror in the back of the cover, there's a very cute strawberry print on the cover a well.

There are I think only 3 shades of this line.  Mine is PK001.

Peripera Wholly Deep Liner Marker - Review

I have to be guilty for not making a review for this eyeliner.  This was my go-to eyeliner for 1 whole year.  The performance is just so satisfying.

Packaging Black plastic pen like packaging.  There's a ball inside so you can shake it like a correction pen.

The tip is a brush tip.  I love how the brush is soft but not too soft that you'll have trouble in lining your eyes.  It's firm just the right firmness.
