DIY Cushion

I find that the Holika Holika Aqua Petite Jelly BB Cream bottle is too bulky for travelling.  It's summer already and I think we should be able to bring some of our favorite products to travel.

I haven't come across a blog post on how this will perform if it's in a cushion form.  I mean I will not alter the formula right?  But most of the DIY cushion tutorials use liquid foundation or BB cream in their DIY Cushions. Well wouldn't hurt anyone to try.

I bought this one from Ellearr in Carousell for P195. I love the simple design and with cherry blossom design of the cover.

Materials:

• It's My DIY Cushion (You can buy this from shopee & althea as well)
• Holika Holika Aqua Petite Jelly BB Cream
• Cotton Buds
• Tissue

1. Scoop out some BB cream from the bottle
2. Remove the sponge of your bb cream case and place your scoops of BB cream in the container.

3. You place the white sponge back into the container, and poke on it using your cotton bud

4.  Eventually after many pokes, the sponge will take the color of the foundation.

And there you go! I can now bring this to my travels.

PS: Effect on the performance of the BB cream: For this BB cream, it turned from medium coverage to light coverage.  You have to layer it more to get better coverage.  I guess this is because the puff picks up a little amount of product.
