Colourpop Disney Designer Eyeshadow Palette - Review

I've always wanted to try Colourpop eyeshadows, because there were really great reviews about Colourpop eyeshadows in general.  But I always prevent myself from buying a palette because of the price.

But then I saw this on Youtube, and I was no longer able to stop myself with the justification that my Heimish Dailism Eye Palette has already reached 1 year and I already hit pan to several shadows already.

I'm a Disney fan, grew up with Disney and this collaboration really was the reason I was not able to prevent myself from buying this palette.

Packaging

I was really amazed when I received this, the box is just soooooo.... luxurious!  The front has the signatures of the disney princesses in gold lettering.  And at the back are the names of the shadows. Then when you open the box, you get this black, made of cardboard palette.  This has a magnetic lid also so you will hear a light click to maintain the lid closed.  The packaging is just so amazing!  The inner child in me just is so giddy right now.  The back fo the palette also contains the names of the shadows.

Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder - Review

This was very popular in the makeup community, late with the bandwagon.  In reality have to finish old makeup first before trying out a new one, so I can control my purchases of makeup stuffs.

After finishing the Savvy Mineral Loose Powder, here's now my new loose powder.

Packaging	This comes in big plastic tub with twistable orange cap.  It has a big puff also.  I don't know it this is an advantage or not?  I find the big tub to be too bulky and takes up a lot of space in my makeup bag.  I actually transferred the content to the Savvy Mineral Loose Powder case because I like the size of it.

Loreal Voluminous Lash Paradise - First Impressions

The moment I watched this from Tati, the following day, I looked for it in the Loreal counters.  However during that time, it was not yet available in the Philippines, even online.  So when I went to AUA this May, this was one of my "must-buy" makeup.

Packaging	The plastic tube is metallic rose pink with a twistable cap.  The length of this is 12.2 cm with 1.5 cm diameter.

Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette - First Impressions

I did not plan on buying this, since this is a luxury brand.  But when I travelled to San Francisco, I saw this 1 day before my last day in USA and it was on sale for 50% off at Macy's and even if I already bought a matte eyeshadow palette, I couldn't resist and bought this one also.

I was actually on the hunt for a matte eyeshadow palette when I went to USA, I was very specific, should be on the "brown" or neutral shade, and with matte colors.  Something I don't usually use.  I am a pink glittery eyeshadow type of person.

I got this in my last trip in Australia.  One of the high-end brands, I saw this in one of the beauty reviews in youtube.

Packaging	I love the packaging of this.  It's so cool.  It looks like a shaker bottle, the one used by bartenders.  It has a clear plastic body and chrome twistable cover.

Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip - Review

It took me months before I decided to just buy this, I've been curious to why this was popular in the social media platforms and the reason why I'm preventing myself from buying one is because I currently have many lip tints and still loving them.  But when Shopee started having the christmas sale, decided to take the opportunity to buy this.

Packaging	Plastic tube with silver chrome cover.  The body of the tube is clear which is great since you can see the shade it contains.

Gigi Hadid Eyeshadow Palette - Review

Happy new year to everyone! Hoping for a great 2018.

I'm not a fan of eyeshadows from Maybelline, well because my younger sister, when she was starting to play with makeup, and she did not like it because she can't squeeze pigmentation out of it even after many layers she applied.

I got this as a gift during Christmas, and I decided to just try this even with my younger sister's negative experience with Maybelline eyeshadows.

Packaging	I love the simplicity of this packaging.  It's old rose color with clear plastic at top so you can see the eyeshadow pans inside. This is the warm palette.

Benefit Dandelion Twinkle - Review

I think this is the first Benefit product that I really own.  I got this in my trip to Australia, in the Duty Free airport. I finally finished my Too Cool for School Artclass by Rodin Highlighter and finally could use another product.

Packaging	This has a packaging of something different, it's in a cardboard box and opens by flipping it up.  I think this is more environmental-friendly with the cardboard packaging.

Lucas Papaw Ointment - Review

This is one of the must buy gifts for 'pasalubong' or gift to bring back home when you travel to Australia.  I got curious why this was always recommended and that a lot of people are actually buying or hoarding this when they visit Australia.

There were lots of claims of this product, unfortunately I cannot apply all of it to test it out since I'm not experiencing all of the skin conditions it can treat.

Packaging	This comes in red plastic squeezy tube with a red twistable cap.

Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Lash Mascara - First Impressions

Been late with my posts lately, busy with the hospital and some unforseen events.  Anyways, at least I was able to squeeze this in.

I got this from a swap. I swapped this with an essence that I'm no longer using.  I guess swapping is a great way to try new products without breaking your wallet.

YSL Fusion Ink Cushion Foundation - Review

I saw this always in the top 5 of cushion foundation among beauty gurus but it was freaking expensive.  But I got this as a gift from my Dad, he said for me to buy what I want in Australia Duty Free of the remaining Aus$ we had when we went there.  So I got this to test it out if it's really worth it. Anyways I think this is my first ever luxury brand, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL).

Packaging	The cushion case is just so LUXURIOUS!!! It's in gold and black plastic cushion case, with mirror at the cover.

Battle of Retractable Brushes

I've been a retractable brush user since I started my journey in playing with makeup.  It started with a P100+ retractable blush brush I bought in Divisoria and I'm hooked to retractable brushes ever since. Despite that retractable brush as something bought in Divisoria, but the bristles of that brush are so soft and gentle to the skin that up to now I use it when I travel since it's so compact and still reliable.

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub

One day I just woke up and decided I wanted to try any one of Lush product.  I shy away from Lush stores open here in the Philippines.  Mainly because I think the smell of the store although it smells really good but I find it overpowering.  But I guess something came to me that day and I just decided to try any Lush product.

I did not even look at the net for suggestions which product to buy.  It's just like a spontaneous thing 😆

Packaging

I kind of like the packaging, of this lip scrub.  It's in a glass jar with black plastic screw cover.  It's stated that this lip scrub is freshly handmade.  What I love about this the most is that at the bottom of the jar, there's a  cartoon picture stating the person/nickname of the person who made it, the manufacture date, and the expiry date as well.  I like the idea of having the name of the person at the package, since it gives you that 'special' feeling you always get when you receive something handmade.  It's also stated in the package that they fight animal testing.

L'occitane Cherry Blossom Fresh Face Mist - Review

I got this L'occitane Cherry Blossom Fresh Face Mist as a patient care of one of our consultant's patient.  For non doctors, patient care is what we call the gift a patient gives his/her doctor out of appreciation for the doctor in saving his life or treating his disease, or even just making him comfortable during his illness.  When a doctor receives patient care, it really can make any doctor's day.  It's like a gold star you receive when you did well when you were in kindergarden.

This is a high end brand, so with my own money, I cannot afford from this brand, it's a great opportunity to receive this gift from a patient.

Packaging	It's in a clear spray bottle with pink sticker label.  The sticker label has cherry blossoms illustrations in it.  This comes in 50 mL.

Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Brightening Makeup Foundation - First Impressions Review

My... the name is really long for this foundation.  This is my first time to try from this high end brand, I borrowed this from my friend 😆.

Before I tried this product, I asked myself, what is in this product that they can sell it for P1000+ and people are actually willing to pay that amount of money for it... Well let's see...

Packaging	It is in a plastic pump bottle.  I love that it's frosted.  Having it in a pump bottle is an advantage since I think it's more sanitary.
