I was so excited to check my mail last night, well because a package arrived. I bought a highlighter palette which was raved about in social media, the Too Cool For School Artclass by Rodin Highlighter Palette. But to my horror, when I opened the palette, it was BROKEN! The courier must have dropped it during delivery... 😟
So here's how the palette looked like when I opened it.
I was really sad for a few minutes, then an idea popped out... "We can probably fix this and you can blog about it!" So doing the best of what I have.... I picked out the materials that's available in my dormintory...
The materials that you will need are:
- Rubbing alchol
- Empty jar or bowl
- Cotton buds
- Tissue
1. Pour some alcohol into your empty jar. Then you can dip your cotton bud onto the alcohol.
2. The palette soaked up the alcohol in the cottton bud, which made it pretty mushy and soft. I was able to temporarily merge it.
3. Place a clean tissue over the fixed palette to smoothen it out.
4. Finished!!!
