I was excited to try this pink facial mist.  Anyways, I can't think of much of an intro right now, since I got a lot on my mind lately.

Senka Perfect Whip Collagen In - First Impressions

This is I think the version of Shiseido Perfect Whip for those who have sensitive skin.  I cannot comment if it really is hypoallergenic since my skin is not that sensitive.  When I bought this I did not think it was for sensitive skin, I bought this for the pink tube actually.

Packaging
This has a pink plastic tube with white cover at the bottom.  Like the blue version, the plastic of this is soft and pliable so easy to squeeze the product out.

Kao Megarhythm Steam Patch

I suddenly felt helpless and I don't know why... Sometimes in your effort to motivate yourself and try to look at people and things in the internet to be inspired, you tend to feel guilty and compare yourself and feel inferior to the great achievements of those people. Guess it's like reverse psychology??

I got this from my cousin, pabili when she went to Taiwan.  I reviewed the steam eye mask from the same company, and now I'm trying this one.

Packaging
The box contains 5 separate steam patches.  Each steam patch is sealed in a foil pack.

Smell
Lavender, really good.  The other variant is unscented
Appearance
This actually looks like a pantyliner sanitary napkin or maybe a big band aide

This has a cotton sheet texture at the front and at the back.  The front part has sheep prints over it. The back part, there are 2 peel away papers just like a band-aid
When you peel off the paper, you can see 2 sticker parts on two ends and in the middle a very thin sticker strip as well.

Application
Once you open the foil, the two heat pads will be activated and will heat up.

You can basically stick this to any part of your body: shoulders, stomach, back etc.  I used this one on my shoulder.

This will "heat" up a little, I find the heat kind of mild for a shoulder.  I think that the "heat" is not enough to soothe your muscles.  I think though this will be great when you have dysmenorrhea.

I opened this up, and just like the steam eye mask, this has the brown "heating pad".

Duration of useFirst Impressions
PriceTWD 315 for 2 box of 5
Pros
Smells good
Only good if you want only "mild" heat
Cons
Heat too mild for my liking
Buy again?
Maybe??

My 5-Step Morning Skincare Routine

I received a request to share my morning skincare routine after I've posted my Nighttime Skincare Routine.  I never actually took note of this, and I think it's basically 5 step as well.

How to Foam Up Perfect Whip Facial Wash

I always have this question in my mind, can I put the Shiseido Perfect Whip in a foam dispenser? My life will be easier that way.  Because Speedy Whip is so expensive and the perfect whip is more affordable.  But I don't like to go through 2 minutes to foam up the Perfect Whip in my hand.

So when I finished my Biore Uru-Uru I used the empty foam dispenser to test this lazy idea of mine if this will work.

Megarhythm Steam Eye Mask

I saw this in a video by Morgan and at first I thought I may not have the chance to buy and test it, but it would be great if I can have a chance to test it.  Luckily, this product is available in HK! And this was in one of my hauls.
Packaging
The box contains 5 eye mask sheets.  Each Eye mask sheet is inside an individually packed foil pouch.

I just finished my Biore Uru-Uru and I'm on the look out for a new facial wash.  I then decided to try the Shiseido Perfect Whip since a lot of people have been raving about it.  I'm just a lazy girl in making it foam up which was the main reason why I had not bought it before.

Midyear 2017 empties

I can't remember if these are everything, sometimes I throw the empty containers away, sometimes I keep them.  Anyways, here are a few of those that I was able to keep.

  1. Banila Co Clean it Zero Cleansing Balm - I love this so much that this is my holy grail cleansing balm.  It can blur your eyes for a while, but I just love it so much! Actually I'm on on my 3rd tub already.  I love the smell, I love that it melts away my makeup just like that.  It removes the step of scrubbing your face and or rubbing your face with cotton pad or tissue which sometimes can irritate your skin.   You can read my first impression here
  2. Etude House  Lovely Cookie Blusher (Grapefruit Jelly) - This has been with me since 2015. Haha and I haven't finished it! But my skin is already itchy when I apply this so I have to buy a new one.  This just gives you that hint of blush.
  3. Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream - I like that this is very lightweight to my eyes.  I can't say that this did anything remarkable to my eyes, well maybe also because I always forget to apply this in my eyes.   Read my 1st impressions of this here.  To think this lasted for 16 months, for a small tube although like I said before, I did not use this every day.
  4. Heroinemake Long & Curl Mascara - This has become my holy grail mascara ever since I tried this this year!  It's just perfect for your eyelashes.  I know that mascaras are only supposed to be used for 3 months only, but I was able to stretch this to 5 months.  Well it's expensive, so why throw it away at 3 months? Anyways, at 5 months, there's still some left of the product but I started noticing that its performance is not as great as 1-2 months of initial usage.  I'm using the Volume & Curl Mascara now and I'll let you know what I think once I finished it. Check my first impressions of the Long & Curl Mascara here
  5. Biore Uru-Uru 2-in-1 instant foaming wash - This has a delicious apple scent which I love, lasted pretty much for 4 months.  I use this once a day at night as part of my double cleansing routine.  This feels like putting marshmallow onto your face.  At first, this stings my skin, but after a while of continous usage, I don't feel the sting anymore.  If you want to read my first impressions, here
  6. Biore UV Face Milk - I just love this, even if this is for oily skin, me, being a dry to combination skin type, this just works well.  I love Biore sunscreens! I'm just trying out the other lines, but I've been loyal to Biore ever since trying out my first Biore Sunscreen last year. Biore sunscreens are just my holy grail sunscreen, not even canmake mermaid gel, nor Innisfree sunscreen could replace this.  I used this all up in 5 months of everyday, once a day, one layer of application.

Chulala Herbal Soap - First Impressions

This is one of the products sent by Amabie.com in exchange for honest review being an Alist for the month of April.

This is the first time I've heard of this product.  I'm assuming this is from Japan instructions and description at the back were only written in Japanese.

Packaging
This comes in what looks like a recycled box packaging.  The product is 80g as written in the box.   The soap itself is round with slightly oval shape.

Shiseido Speedy Perfect Whip - Review

I'm having crappy internet connection, sorry for the delayed posts.  The Shiseido Perfect Whip became so popular in social media and as I stated before in my Biore Uru Uru Wash, I'm a bit lazy to foam it up into a whip.

I got excited and I bought this Shiseido Speedy Perfect whip.

Packaging
This comes in a simple blue dispenser.

Biore Uru Uru 2-in-1 Instant Foaming Wash - Review

There was a time last year that "foaming" wash became a trend in my instagram.  It's said to be really gentle and doesn't strip away moisture from your face and these are especially helpful for people with dry skin type.  During that time Shisheido Foaming Wash was the popular one.   But I thought it's too tedious to make a foam and it's time-consuming.  I'm just too lazy to make a foam before I wash my face.

So when I was walking around Watson's, I saw this foam wash from Biore and I was intrigued by it.  So I bought it.

Packaging
This comes in a very cute pink dispenser.  Everything in this packaging is just so cute!!!

Biore UV Perfect Face Milk - Review

The Biore sunscreen is just my holy grail sunscreen.  At SPF 50+, you can get the sun protection you need without being too heavy on your skin.

I've just finished my Biore UV Perfect Bright Milk and though I really loved that sunscreen, I bought a different variant since I wanted to try the others as well.

I ordered this at Beauty MNL and as expected I got the package the very next day after I made the payment.  This is one of the reasons why I loved buying from them.

Packaging
It comes in a plastic bottle with a pointed tip.  There's I think a ball inside, you can shake the bottle and you get the satisfying feeling of the sound of the ball inside.  This is one of the 3 variant, the one with white pearl colored cap.

Canmake Mermaid Gel - Review

It's really nice for certain companies to give trial kits, so you can try them out and check if that product will work for you or not without breaking your pocket.

I got this freebie when I bought some Canmake Products.

Packaging
No comment on the packaging since this is a freebie trial sachet.
Smell
Smells like fragrance-free lotion.  This has the similar smell of VMV Sport Sunscreen.
Consistency
The consistency is your typical cream, a little sticky.

Claims

  • Powerful, yet delectably moist,
  • SPF50+/PA++++
  • smooth gel without that roughness or stickiness characteristic of most sunscreens.
  • Recommended for those who prefer a light, refreshing sunscreen
  • Gel breaks down into a watery texture as you smooth it over your skin
  • After using face wash, this is all you need for complete skincare and UV protection, can also be used after your usual facial lotion and other skincare products, serves as a moisturizing make-up base with UV protection
  • Infuses your skin with moisture, helping your foundation to sit better and last longer
  • Use it on your body, as well as your face, this pleasant watery gel contains 85% beautifying ingredients
  • Sunscreen is most effective when reapplied frequently
  • Comes in an easily portable tube that makes it simple to adjust the amount you apply, so it's perfect for reapplying sunscreen when you're out and about.
Application
It's easy to apply, smooth, with minimal stickiness.  It's lightweight, doesn't give a white cast when applied.  I've never used a make-up base before, so I don't know what to expect and I don't have a baseline product to compare to.

So to put this to the test, I compared this to The FaceShop Rice Ceramide Moisture Emulsion, this is my go to moisturiser prior to applying any make-up
I did not see any difference compared to the rice ceramide.  There's no difference with the color of my eyeshadow and blush comparing the two.  So I think as a make-up base, it's not in any better compared to a moisturiser.

Let's test the longevity...

In terms of wear, there's no difference also compared to the moisturiser. It's long-lasting, lasting for 11 hours.
Duration of use4 days, 1 sachet can be used for 2 days. I used 2 sachets before writing this review
Pros
SPF 50/PA ++++ - The sunscreen is what I love most about this product, it protects you from sun damages without giving you the 'white' cast that most sunscreens give.
Lightweight
Cons
I don't think it's any better vs moisturiser as a makeup base.

Biore UV Perfect Bright Milk - Review

I know this is a little late since summer is over, but I need to test this product first for me to give a reliable review.

I've heard lots of good reviews about the Biore UV sunscreen.  There are a lot of bloggers who love these babies.

Packaging
It comes in a plastic bottle with a pointed tip.  They release 3 types for this line, I bought the pink one, the Biore UV Perfect Bright Milk.

Smell
No smell, no fragrance
Consistency
The consistency is watery and smooth.

Application
The bottle contains a ball inside, just like a correction pen, with ball inside.  You first shake bottle well before use, then apply evenly into your skin.

When applied, it's very watery and your skin easily absorbs it.  It will dry a powdery finish, and your face will feel very smooth.  I actually use this as my makeup base for my face.  There's no sticky feeling like other sunscreens and there's no copper tone smell which I really love.

At first I thought there might be alcohol in the ingredients, since I smelled a hint of alcohol when I applied it on my face, but upon checking the ingredients again, I didn't see any alcohol.

Claims
Protect your face from the harsh and harmful UVA & UVB rays with this ultra light yet long-lasting SPF 50+/PA++++ UV block.  Perspiration & water resistant.  Suitable for daily use.  Contains Hyaluronic Acid to moisturise.
Duration of use 1 month
Pros
Very smooth application, true to its claim of Ultra light weight texture.  Really love no sticky feeling and no fragrance.
Cons
Pricey: php 380
