HS reunion 2012
This is part 2 of our 2012 reunion, the part 1, well I wasn't able to take pictures. hehe It's been 2 years since we had a reunion. So many stories to catch up on hehehe.
We ate at Dilingers Greenbelt 3. I like the design of the exterior of the place. It's like I'm in one of the Harry Potter movies.
I forgot what food we ordered, but I think there's:
Buffalo wings - this according to them was their best seller. Well my comment: hm... I tried tasting it alone without the sauce, it tasted weird but when I tried it with the sauce, it was PERFECT COMBINATION!!!! But I think Don Henrico's Buffalo wings are equally delicious.
I think this was their Grilled Porkchop - um good. typical porkchop.
Onion Rings - my favorite! or was I only craving for them when I ate them??
Chicken & chips if I'm not mistaken... I wasn't able to eat the chicken hahaha they ate them before I realized I haven't tasted it.
I really missed you guys...

Spicy Tuna Salad
I was craving for Spicy Tuna Salad for the past few days. Since I couldn't predict when our resident will tell us that we're going to our assigned family.. I couldn't satisfy my craving.
Luckily, a while ago I saw the opportunity. I have around 2 hour break before I'll make up for Pedia. So I took the taxi & went to Omakase at Il Terrazzo in Tomas Morato.

Going Back to Felt Crafts
It's been a while since I've sewn. Hm... Now I'm crazy over felt again hahaha. It all started with a necessity. I have an older version of iphone. My problem was that I can't find cute case for it, all for iphone 4! Boo!
So I sew myself an iphone case. I want it to have a hard case, at the same time there's a protection for the screen. So here's my design:
Then my sister saw this one & she loved it! So she requested if I can make one for her. Though hers is ericsson phone. So I made her an owl pouch.
Irony of Helping Out
I'm going to make up in pediatrics tomorrow as one of my deficit in internship. I was late, so I have to make up for 0.5 days.
Why was I late??
Here's what happened that day:
As I was leaving our house, I saw my aunt sitting, very pale, eyes closed, very weak. My mom said, what happened?
I looked at her, I don't know if she has any illness since she doesn't seek consult.
I took her BP= 110/70, so it's not hypotension. I checked her pulse, it's w/in normal range around 70s if I can remember it right, so it's not bradycardia.
I looked at her palperbral conjunctivae, it's pink.
I held her hand, it's cold sweats... I suspect it's probably hypoglycemia...
We let her inside the room, she lay down, she's conscious, but very weak, I gave her a piece of candy.
According to my mom, this has happened before when I was probably attending a class, she lost consciousness during that time. I can't remember if she was brought to the hospital. But my family told me that it was because she was really tired, she woke up early in the morning & probably couldn't go back to sleep so she cleaned her house. Then she lost consciousness. Could it be another episode of hypoglycemia? or probably vaso-vagal?? Hm...?
Anyways, as a result of helping her out that day. I was late at the hospital. I think I was late for 20 minutes. The resident told me, you're late.
I said: Sorry doctora, nahimatay po yun tita ko sa bahay di ako makaalis kagad.
Resident: Ok, pero late ka parin.
And here, as a result, I'll make that up. That's the life of a medical intern. That's what future doctors have to face. So be appreciative of your doctors. They've suffered too you know.

Mascara Review
Hi! It's been a long time since I've posted in this blog. Let's start the New Year with a review. There was a time that I was looking for the perfect mascara. I tried on different brands. Of course I also look at the prices.
Here goes:
My first product is the Maybelline:
Maybelline Volum' Express Waterproof Mascara
- This product claims that your eyelashes will curl once you applied this mascara. Well, for my review, I'm not very fond of this mascara. In fact, I only used it once. And yea, the claim about curling your eyelashes once you applied??? Doesn't work.
Reasons why I don't like this mascara:
- First, I'm not very fond of waterproof mascara, I'm lazy in removing makeup hahaha. I like removing my makeup just by washing my face with my regular facial wash & then just removing some residues through creams.
- Doesn't curl my lashes
- I get clumps in my eyelashes
- Hard to apply
Will I buy this again? - No
2nd product is again from Maybelline:
I got this as my Christmas gift.
Reasons I like this mascara:
- Gives volume, & it doesn't look fake
- not waterproof
- Does not smudge when I apply eye drops for my dry contact lenses
Reasons I don't like this mascara:
- Hard to control when applying, I think it's because it's watery
- Whenever I apply it, I my eyelashes clump together, which I don't like the effect
3rd product is from Etude House Oh~m'Eye Lash Mascara.
This was my old mascara & it really has served its purpose. I tried venturing to other brands of mascara but so far this is the best for me.
Reasons why I like this mascara:
- Very easy to apply
- Few clumps if there is any, most of the time none
- It gets every strand of my eyelashes which I really love
- Gives the NATURAL look!
- Not waterproof
Reasons why I don't like this mascara:
- More expensive compared to the other two
- I think the wand bristles are too short
'til next review! =D
