The Little Prince Themed Party

We were invited to a themed birthday party.  I love themed parties because there's an artistic and crafty aspect to it.

This post is to give inspirations to others who are planning to have a "The Little Prince" Themed party.  Elements here may give you an idea on how to decorate your party.

Let's begin with the room decorations:

When I hear the little prince theme, I thought the color scheme will be majority green.  But I was surprised to see blue themed party.  And it turned out well actually, maybe better.

The centerstage backpiece was really great! I especially love the glittery effect.  It made the stage really extravagant!

Day to Fox Makeup Challenge

We attended a postgraduate course by PURA in the morning, and at night attended a Little Prince themed birthday party.  I thought of this makeup challenge transforming into fox makeup in the afternoon without getting back home to get my complete makeup set.

Also this was my first time to do this fox makeup, no practice before (didn't have time to practice).  I just thought, "bahala na si batman".

So here's my look:

Chulala Herbal Soap - First Impressions

This is one of the products sent by Amabie.com in exchange for honest review being an Alist for the month of April.

This is the first time I've heard of this product.  I'm assuming this is from Japan instructions and description at the back were only written in Japanese.

Packaging	This comes in what looks like a recycled box packaging.  The product is 80g as written in the box.   The soap itself is round with slightly oval shape.

Peripera Airy Ink Velvet - Review

I've been feeling really down lately. Things happening in the hospital could really affect the doctors. I don't think doctors could really fully separate their lives in the hospital and outside of it, since you get to care so much for your patient and you get affected with what happens to them.

Anyways, I'm writing this in the hopes at least I feel a little better, some light of positivity.

Packaging	This I think is the latest collection from the Peripera Ink line.  Peripera Airy Ink Velvet, people have been raving about it.  It has a similar ink bottle packaging, with a frosted plastic look, which I find really unique.

Aeria Skin: Even-Tone Brightening Face Mask Sheet

I received this as one of the products sent by Amabie to me for free to give an honest review. I was lucky to be part of their Alist the past month.  Don't know how that happened since I am only a newbie in reviewing cosmetic products.  Anyways I feel honored to be part of their Alist.

Packaging	This has a peachy brown foil sachet packaging.  It's great that even if this was made in Taiwan, there's English written so I can understand it.

Daiso Mascara Reviver

I've been using my holy grail mascara: Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara for 5 months now and the mascara is already starting to dry up.  It's not as smooth in application like before, and it no longer gives me the spread out as pretty as before.

I know, mascara should be used of up to 3 months only.  But I've been like this ever since, if I can extend up to 1 yr, the better, especially if I love the product.

Packaging	The bottle is plastic, creamy white with a pointed tip.  It's like a bottle for eye drops with long tubes.

L'occitane Cherry Blossom Fresh Face Mist - Review

I got this L'occitane Cherry Blossom Fresh Face Mist as a patient care of one of our consultant's patient.  For non doctors, patient care is what we call the gift a patient gives his/her doctor out of appreciation for the doctor in saving his life or treating his disease, or even just making him comfortable during his illness.  When a doctor receives patient care, it really can make any doctor's day.  It's like a gold star you receive when you did well when you were in kindergarden.

This is a high end brand, so with my own money, I cannot afford from this brand, it's a great opportunity to receive this gift from a patient.

Packaging	It's in a clear spray bottle with pink sticker label.  The sticker label has cherry blossoms illustrations in it.  This comes in 50 mL.

Eres Tu My Daily Armor Brightening - Complex Sun Cream - First Impressions

I've got to lessen the length of my titles, why do some cosmetics have long names?? Enough ranting...

I bought this sunscreen in my trip to Cebu.  The main reason was, I did not notice that my Sulwhasoo sample got emptied while I was in Cebu.  Good thing SM Cebu is very near our hotel, so I was able to go to Watson's to and buy me some cosmetics.

Packaging	I did not find a full size of this product, so I guess they only have this in sachet form.  This has a very bright pink colored sachet.

The Nature Republic Argan Essential Deep Care Hair Pack - First Impressions

I got this free sachet in one of my online purchases.  I never get to try it until early May.

Packaging	Love the sachet design.  Looks good

Getting Lost in Xiamen

We went to Xiamen for 3 days and 2 nights.  But I decided not to include our 1st night since it consisted of our meeting.  So I'll just include in this post our 2 day itinerary.

To give you an idea of our trip:

Japonesque Dual Fiber Eye Brush Set - Review

I started my eye makeup development, with the free sponge applicator included in some eye shadow palettes.  I think I was still in high school during that time.

Then I started to use the Elf Eyeshadow brush.  It's relatively affordable for a student and during that time I kind of love it.

Until I bought the Etude House Eyeshadow brush.  It was pink and soft when I apply it on my eyelids.  But I became disappointed the moment I started cleaning the Etude House Eyeshadow Brush, I don't know what happened to the bristles, but they hurt my eyelid.  It's like the feeling of a strand of brush that's too stiff for your eyelids.

When I went to Beauty Bar I saw these brushes on display, with samples for you to test.  I touched them and "Oh my! Ang Lambot!" (Oh my! So Soft!)

I was disappointed when I saw the price: P1,150.  I never spent that much on a makeup brush.  But I bought it anyways.

Packaging	This has black plastic packaging, with dual color, black and white at the tip. I love the dual color of the white, because when I clean them, I could see if they're really clean since the color will turn white if it's clean enough.
