The consistency of this is like a hair conditioner.

I apply this like a conditioner. After I shampooed my hair and rinse the shampoo off. I squeeze excess water and then apply this onto my hair.
It's easy to wash off, like any conditioner and it leaves your hair silky smooth. Your hair feels softer also. I'm not too sure though that this is any different from what a normal hair conditioner can do.
