Kose Fasio Cheek Color - Review

This is my first blog after what happened.  I couldn't write any blogs after what happened, it just hurts so much and I lost a lot of drive.  I was actually willing to give up everything already.  Kind of haggling with the heavens, exchanging all that I could just so he can get better and wake up.

Anyways, I woke up today and July welcomed me with a more positive feeling and suddenly I decided, I would make a blog today.

I bought this when I was in Japan in Don Quijote, this was not in their shelf of Cosme #1 where all the best-sellers were displayed there, which was really convenient for someone who's new into Japan cosmetics.  But as I swatched those displayed there, I just don't like their consistency.  I prefer powder blush but there's just no blush there in powder form.  So I just bought this instead.

Packaging
This is rectangular black semi-glossy plastic package.  What I like about the packaging is the clear rectangular window on the cover, which makes you see the shade of color inside.

This window comes in handy if you have lots of blushes in your collection.  Saves you time from opening the cover to see the shade inside.

There's a brush inside as well.
Smell
None
Swatch
I have the shade OR-01
There are 2 shades in the palette, the lighter one I guess for highlighter and the darker one for the blush itself.  Or you could mix both.
Application
As shown in the swatch and the picture below, it's really very subtle.  As in in one swipe, you'll not be able to see anything.  You have to build this up to 3 layers for it to show color.  This is me after 3 layers of the blush.

This is too subtle for me, on the bright side, it is buildable.  So I guess it kind of adds to its flexibility since you can adjust the lightness and darkness of the blush depending on your mood.   But just the hassle of applying a lot at a time just to achieve the color you preferred. This is not good for  someone in a hurry.

The brush that comes with it is actually very soft. I like it since it doesn't poke my skin.  Yeah, I'm kind of picky with brushes, I prefer soft brushes that doesn't poke or prick your skin. You know what I mean... It will take some time to get used to using the brush that it comes with but surprisingly it's really not bad.  You can really actually use it especially if you're travelling.

Overall I think this is great for everyday use.

It claimed it's waterproof, but I didn't test it for "waterproof"

Duration of use1 month
PriceI can't remember, but I found the price online for 2000 yen
Pros
Great for everyday use
literally lightweight and portable, thin packaging great to carry for travelling
Cons
Too subtle
Buy again?
No, there are better blushes out there
Recommend?Um....? I can't decide, I guess it depends on your preference
