Pastel Highlighters: Stabilo Boss vs Zebra Mildliner

I've been thinking of doing a review on some journaling or art supplies or studying supplies for 2 months already.  But I guess I was thinking of how to approach this since I'm not an expert in this matter.  But there's no harm in trying anyways and since this is my blog, I think I can write what I want to write here anyways.

I've chosen to compare these two since I've been always curious with Mildliners and they look so cute!

Packaging
The Mildliner is cylindrical in shape, it's and the cap has a clip which is a great feature to keep in your pockets.  The overall body is white in color with the colors on the cap.
The stabilo regular pastel colors have the regular standard Stabilo Boss shape.  The Stabilo Swing Cool is the same as their old swing cool casing.  The colors are opaque as well.

Tips
The Mildliner is dual tip which I love.  It has a chisel tip and a pointed tip.
The Stabilo Boss standard and swing cool has a chisel tip.
Color
The Stabilo Boss has a total of 6 colors.  I'm sorry I did not get the orange, well because when I tried it I'm not happy with the color of the pastel orange.  I prefer the old fluorescent orange (just a personal preference).
The Mildliner has a wide range of colors I just chose the colors with similar colors with Stabilo Boss just to be fair.

I don't have the classic pastel yellow, only the swing cool type:

Performance
Here's an example of a handout printed on regular bond paper, with Canon Inkjet Printer.

I don't know the technical term for this, but at the back of regular bond paper, here's how it looked like.

Here's how it looked like when used on different types of pen inks:

So Stabilo Boss, a little to none travelling of the inks when highlighted on top of the ink.  The Mildliner there's travelling of ink a little with the gel pen.

Both products have their pros and cons, but as a personal preference I like Stabilo Boss better, just because I prefer the "shade" of pastel it gives.
